Louisa is concerned about Darcy after the assembly ball
MRS. HURST
I hear that Miss Elizabeth Bennet has introduced herself to you already. That certainly didn't take her long.
DARCY
No, no. I just bumped into her on the street.
MRS. HURST
The very day after the assembly ball.
DARCY
No need to worry about it.
MRS. HURST
A very enterprising young woman.
DARCY
Please, Louisa. I barely remember what she even looks like.
MRS. HURST
Charles says you're going to tea this afternoon at her home.
DARCY
I can handle my own affairs all by myself, if you don't mind.
MRS. HURST
Barely a week in Hertfordshire and now you're getting entangled.
DARCY
Actually, I've managed to insult her several times already. Not intentionally, but --
MRS. HURST
Why don't you take Caroline on a walk while Charles visits Longbourn?
DARCY
Your brother insists that I go with him. Don't worry. I'll spend the afternoon talking to Mr. Bennet.
MRS. HURST
Aren't you off to London soon? By the time you get back Miss Eliza might already be married.
DARCY
When I come back I won't even remember her.
